Water: The Womb of Life
A ritualistic performance, which aims to evoke a feeling of gratitude towards water bodies.

This performance was developed by deep research into hydrofeminism, water witchcraft, ritual, and sound design.

Following a defined set of steps, the participants emerge in a ritual accompanied by a sonic spoken word, merging their bodies and minds with a water body. Afterward, they receive a water journal,
which helps them reflect on their relationship
with water as well as the aftermath of the ritual.

My design practice is defined by curiosity and intuition,
I like to follow my senses and my observations.
Most of my time is spent gathering input in forms
of reading, just looking, listening...

I like to take my inspiration from my real life surroundings,
yet I always go back to a more child-like imagination, drawing inspiration from mystical worlds, looking at spirituality,
nature and culture. Then, combining those two instances, communicating current matters through mystical lense.

I am not shy of learning a new medium and jumping from form to form. What is important to me, is that the medium supports the communication of the chosen topic.

(Un)veiled Force:
The Narratives of Violence

A collaborative book project featuring a selection of E-flux Criticism articles.

The book explores concepts of violence, ignorance, and censorship. Each article page is preceded by a thicker page with cutouts that frame only a few specific words from the next page. Detached from their context, they mislead the reader from the original meaning of the article.

While trying to hide the truth about the violence, the book still leaves the reader the space for a choice: to look closer to the faded white ink, not to trust the isolated words, to reveal the underlayer. The reader can choose not to ignore the narrative of violence.

”Landscaping“ Inspired by Jo‘s photography, I experimented with high and low contrast in typography. Exploring the idea of what a typographical landscape can look like.

WORM - Monthly Posters
As an intern, I was in full control of the poster designs for the monthly program of WORM.

Each month, a new design was drafted, based my observations of each month’s program.

Filtered Reality
Through a set of real-life AR filters, every single character portrays a possible reality of full unfiltered expression. They live in a utopian world, where beauty standards are not real, they are able to express themselves fully, without being persecuted for it.

Visual Identity - NYE Party at WORM
The task was to use the NYE party as a teaser launch for WORM’s new slogan “The Ultimate Playground”.

Out of the idea of a playground, I developed a visual identity, based on the elements you can find on a childrens playground. Extracting the shapes, from actual catalogues of playgrounds, slides and more.
